Rush County offers a myriad of experiences to those living and visiting our community. Throughout Rush County, art can be found in the form of sculptures, murals, and architecture in our historic downtown buildings.
Our community is fortunate to have an active arts council, imagine:nation, that runs a gallery space in the upstairs of the Booker T. Washington Building, a local library that has been added to the list of Evergreen Libraries in the State of Indiana, and a historical society that is open to the public on Monday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 am to 11:00 am to share our community’s deep history.
